European start-up to heal pharmaceutical market

Berlin-based DUDE CHEM, which supplies the pharmaceutical industry with sustainable materials, has raised €6.5 million in venture capital funding. The gambler data startup claims it can cut the cost of producing chemicals by 30% and make the whole process more environmentally friendly. Given that the pharmaceutical industry produces 55% more emissions than the automotive industry, this is an important step towards change.
