My routines, microhabits and what they have given me over the years

From the age of 18 or 19 until I was 35, I would do sets of push-ups and sit-ups as soon as I got up. I did it without really following a plan. Looking back, it didn’t do much for me, but I never failed. In all that time I must have failed 10 times because I didn’t feel well.

Doing things for a long time has always been my thing. Before starting something I think it over carefully because in many cases it becomes an obsession that I can’t let go of.

Bodyweight exercises four times a week

It was my brother-in-law and his wife who introduced me to bodyweight exercises through the Freeletics app. They switched to CrossFit a long time ago. I’ve been doing it for 9 years now. I start my day from Monday to Friday and get down to it as soon as I finish these lines. It’s between 35-45 minutes of exercises. Sometimes very russia whatsapp number data intense, sometimes less so. My body has changed since then. Not radically, but I feel stronger. Now I’ll have to adapt Freeletics to my training plan for running the marathon.

A daily post on my blogs

I think it’s been almost 14 years since I started benefitslearn the main benefits the daily post challenge. What I started as a challenge has become a routine. I write from Monday to Friday. On Fridays, I write three posts in total, of which I schedule two posts on another blog. On Saturdays and Sundays, I don’t write, but they are published. Writing on a blog is the time to reflect on important and less important matters. Many times I “solve” a problem by writing these lines and then I tell my team to keep an eye on the post that comes out the next day so they can use it as a guide.

Intermittent fasting

I started fasting 23/1. It was too radical and it wasn’t the gambler data best way to maintain strength. Now I’ve moved on to 14-16 / 8-10. Sometimes I eat at 12 noon but often at 2 pm as well. Now I’m surprised that until recently I didn’t stop for the whole day. Around 7:30 I would sit down at my laptop and I wouldn’t stop until 5 pm. Literally. I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for almost 4 years now.

Going out for a run on Saturday and Sunday

I think I started doing this 20 years ago. Shortly after my wife started, I started doing it too (as well as intermittent fasting, by the way). It’s something we always do. We never fail. It doesn’t matter what’s going on. It’s important for our well-being. Now that the kids are a little older, we can even go out together. Before, she would go out and I would go out after her.
